Auto Expo 2020 receives 600,000+ footfalls, hosts 352+ products

The Auto Expo 2020 held at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, has received an awesome response with 608,526 footfalls. Visitors witnessed over 352 products on display from 108 exhibitors, including 8 global premieres, over 70 new launches and unveils.

Auto Expo 2020 hosted the launch 35 electric vehicles, showcase of 15 concepts and several new brands also made their Indian debut including Great Wall Motors and Haima Automobile. Several startups showcased their electric vehicles including brands like EeVe, Raptee Motors, Everve Motors, Emotion Motors and Devot Motors.

Auto Shows globally have evolved and transformed from being mere static displays to providing a unique and enriching experience for every segment of the society at large. Auto Expo – The Motor Show 2020 saw a great response with an overall footfall of 6.08 lacs, enabling them to Explore The World Of Mobility.

The 2020 edition of the expo was inaugurated by Mr Nitin Gadkari, Hon’ble Minister, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways & Shipping, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India and saw attendance from celebrities including Angad Bedi, Daler Mehndi, Designer Gauri & Nainika, Gul Panag, Huma Qureshi, Kat Kristian, Kusha Kapila, Nafisa Ali, Narian Karthikeyan, Rahul Singh, Shah Rukh Khan and Soha Ali Khan.

The top 10 finalists of World Car of the Year (WCOTY) award were also announced at the Auto Expo 2020. The jury panel of the WCOTY has 86 members out of which 6 are from India. While the top three finalists will be declared at the Geneva Motor Show in March, the World Car of the Year will be announced at the New York International Auto Show in April.

The expo made a big splash on social media by garnering over 50,000 engagements with its official hashtag #AutoExpo2020 and over 23 lakh impressions in eight days. For a better digital experience for those present at the expo, Auto Expo had partnered with Facebook India.
