Following the recently launched Aion V, the Aion UT is arriving in the UK soon. Order books for the brand’s second model are scheduled to open in September, and first deliveries are expected in October.
Just weeks before the Aion UT goes on sale in the UK, we had a chance to get a close look at a customised version during a recent trip overseas.

The car features minor design changes that lend it a touch of retro style, which incidentally reminded us of the UT race- and stealth-inspired editions we came across in 2025.
The customised Aion UT appears to feature the Champs-Elysees Beige paint that is available as a regular colour option in many markets and could also be offered in the UK. A contrasting olive-green shade has been applied to the A-pillars, cant rails, door mirror caps, wheel-arch mouldings, door mouldings, and rear spoiler.

Twin stripes in the same olive-green shade run down the centre of the short bonnet and the lower half of the tailgate.
The customised Aion UT’s most significant visual change is a set of deep-dish wheels with polished rims, exposed rivet-style detailing, and domed chrome centre caps. Paired with whitewall tyres, these classic-car-inspired wheels are central to the car’s retro character.

The interior of the customised Aion UT is no different from that of the standard car, featuring a minimalist dashboard with a curved profile, a two-spoke steering wheel, free-standing cockpit displays, a floating centre console, and seats with winged headrests.

In the UK, the regular Aion UT has been priced at GBP 28,950. 17-inch alloy wheels, heated and electrically adjustable front seats, a heated steering wheel, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, and a 360° camera system will be part of its standard equipment.
Additional features such as a panoramic glass roof with an electric sunblind, power-folding side mirrors, a smart powered tailgate, a three-stage ventilated driver’s seat, and a wireless smartphone charger will be available as part of a premium pack costing an additional GBP 1,200.

The UK-spec Aion UT has a 201 bhp permanent magnet synchronous motor and a 60 kWh LFP battery pack. This setup allows it to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 7.3 seconds and travel up to 268 miles on a single charge, as per WLTP.
