India’s largest electric two-wheeler company Hero Electric has announced a partnership with GoWash, a Nagpur-based doorstep auto detailing service provider. As it claims, this partnership will help customers to get their vehicles (regardless of which powertrain) cleaned at a good price.
According to the partnership, vehicle washing professionals from GoWash will ride the Hero Electric NYX HS500 ER scooters to attend to customers, which will have a dedicated compartment box at the rear to store various tools. GoWash says it ensures a no waste wash process besides maintaining environmental norms.
Besides that, the collaboration between Hero Electric and GoWash is claimed to be providing employment opportunities to people below the age of 28 years, at a time when the employment has been severely hit by the Covid-19 pandemic. GoWash says that washing partners will get a minimum pay of Rs 12,000 every month, even if there is no business on particular days.
Speaking on this partnership, Sohinder Gill, CEO, Hero Electric, says the company has always been an advocate of adopting sustainable practices by using electric mobility and GoWash has proven to have the best expertise in auto-detailing services while nurturing environmental practices. As Gill further said, with this partnership Hero Electric aims to expand the horizon for the adoption of electric vehicles.
The interested customers can book a vehicle washing service on the GoWash smartphone application. Along with vehicle washing services, GoWash will provide an all-in-one offer where customers can avail coating services in ceramic and PU at a nominal price.
At present, GoWash aims to start with 12 washing vehicles and provide service to 1,500 customers in September 2020. They aim to expand the fleet of washing vehicles to 50 units and provide service to 6,000 customers by November 2020 in Nagpur.
