In the UK, the new-generation Sportage has been developed with Europe specifically in mind. It made its first public debut at the IAA Mobility 2021 and will go on sale later this year with deliveries expected to begin in early 2022.

It’s fantastic to see the Sportage continuing to sit at the top of its segment, despite entering its final few months on sale before its exciting all-new replacement arrives next year. We are immensely proud of our pioneering eco vehicle range, which will soon be strengthened further with the addition of the EV6 and all-new Sportage.

The IAA Mobility also saw the debut of the EV6 BEV. This is Kia’s first model built on the E-GMP architecture allowing for 800V high-speed charging and a range of battery and motor options.
