While it is designed with space efficiency and simplicity in mind, for many buyers, the Leapmotor C10 lacks the necessary dynamic styling available in rivals such as the Hyundai Ioniq 5, Ford Mustang Mach-E, and the Kia EV6.
Recently, we got to spend time around the new limited-edition Leapmotor C10 Kinetix in the Thai market, which shows how the family SUV can look more assertive with a few official exterior accessories and contrasting finishes.
Design
The Leapmotor C10 Kinetix we saw was painted in the Pearly White colour, which is available in the UK as an option worth GBP 700. A special body kit, launched by the company, adds a front bumper skirt, wheel arch claddings, side skirts, and a rear bumper skirt featuring diffuser-look vertical fins.
The wheel arch claddings feature a gloss black finish, which has been used in combination with white on the side skirts and the rear bumper skirt as well.
The body kit reduces the Leapmotor C10 Kinetix’s ground clearance and gives it a more assertive stance. We think the large “KINETIX” branding on the front mask feels a step too far, as its wide, luxury car-like spacing does not align with the sporty look intended with the body kit.
The 20-inch trident hub wheels are part of the standard equipment of the regular C10, and they look quite sporty. The rear spoiler with an integrated high-mount stop lamp is also no different from the standard model.
Interior
The interior of the Leapmotor C10 Kinetix remains unchanged from the regular model. The Criollo Brown colour scheme and a 64-colour ambient lighting system aim to lend the cabin a premium appearance. The minimalist dashboard integrates no buttons, switches, or other physical controls, and the same goes for the bridge-type centre connected to it.
A 10.25-inch 1920×720 resolution display shows key driving information, and a 14.6-inch display with a 2560×1440 resolution is the control-centre of all the key functions.
A powered tailgate, power-adjustable front seats with heating and ventilation functions, a dual-zone automatic climate control system, and a panoramic sunroof are some noteworthy features of the Leapmotor C10 Kinetix.
Specifications
Barring a few minor differences in dimensions from the extra bodywork, the Leapmotor C10 Kinetix has no specification changes from the standard model. It has the same RWD setup with a permanent magnet synchronous motor tuned to produce 160 kW (215 bhp) and 320 Nm (236 lb.-ft.) of torque. A 69.9 kWh LFP battery pack powers the motor and supports charging at up to 6.6 kW (AC)/84 kW (DC).
This setup allows the mid-size electric SUV to hit 62 mph from a standstill in 7.5 seconds and claim a top speed of 105 mph. It takes at least 30 minutes to charge from 30% to 80% SoC, and on a full charge, covers a distance of up to 263 miles, as per WLTP.

The Leapmotor C10 Kinetix is limited to 100 copies and is not sold in the UK. The standard model retails at GBP 32,750, which currently includes a discount offer of GBP 3,750.
