The MINI Cooper Electric Paul Smith Edition made an appearance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2026, where we got to check out the latest collaboration between MINI and British designer Sir Paul Smith.
We spent time checking out the changes and Easter eggs, and concluded that they somehow made the all-electric MINI Cooper even more cheerful than it already is!

The special edition brings a series of exclusive styling changes to the electric hatchback and will be joined later by petrol-powered MINI Cooper, Cooper 5-Door and Convertible variants.
The first model in the range is based on the fully electric MINI Cooper SE, which produces 218 hp (160 kW) and accelerates from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 6.7 seconds. The electric version is already available, while the petrol-powered Paul Smith Edition models will follow during the third quarter of 2026.

The electric model is finished in Midnight Black with a black roof featuring a gloss and matt interpretation of Paul Smith’s signature stripes. The wider Paul Smith Edition range also introduces Inspired White with a Nottingham Green roof, while all variants can be specified in Statement Grey.
Nottingham Green is also used for the mirror caps, front grille surround and wheel centre caps, alongside 18-inch Night Flash Spoke Black alloy wheels.

Inside, the cabin features Nightshade Blue seats, black knitted trim with striped detailing and a sports steering wheel with a Paul Smith signature stripe at the six o’clock position.
Other edition-specific details include a “Hello” welcome light projection, “Every day is a new beginning” lettering on the door sills and Paul Smith’s hand-drawn rabbit graphic on the floor mats.

The MINI Paul Smith Edition continues a long-running partnership between the British carmaker and the fashion designer, offering exclusive colours and bespoke interior details with no mechanical changes from the standard MINI Cooper range.
The Cooper E Paul Smith edition is priced from £32,705 OTR, and the Cooper SE Paul Smith Edition is priced from £33,705 OTR.
