The Tata Nexon EV is available in XM, XZ+ and XZ+ LUX grades. The Tata Nexon EV XM in both the walkaround videos shows it in the Glacier White monotone colour. The XM grade is available in Moonlit Silver and Signature Teal Blue monotone colours as well. The XZ+ and XZ+ Lux variants are available in only dual-tone colours. Apart from the single tone paint, black door handles instead of body-coloured door handles and 16-inch steel wheels instead of 16-inch alloy wheels make the XM variant easily recognisable. Moreover, it has a pole-type antenna instead of a shark fin antenna.

The Tata Nexon EV XM comes with features like projector headlamps with DRLs, LED tail lamps, power adjustable ORVMs, automatic climate control, passive keyless entry, start-stop button, 7-inch TFT digital instrument cluster, 4-speaker music system with Bluetooth by Harman and steering-mounted phone, audio and voice controls. Tata Motors has equipped the base variant with a high level of features as the Nexon EV targets personal car buyers and not the fleet segment where the aspiration level for gadgets is muted and owners are price sensitive.
