With many major automakers deciding to miss the Auto expo 2020, it seems that the list still continues to add more. Autocar India has reported now that Italian scooter icon Lambretta has decided to not participate in the expo.
After unveiling the scooter in December 2019, Benling India has launched the Benling Aura electric scooter priced at Rs 99,000 on-road Bangalore. The Aura is the company’s first high-speed model as the company already has three low-speed models with Kriti, Icon and Falcon.
TVS Motor Company has released another teaser of its electric scooter that will be unveiled on 25th January 2020. The video shows the scooter’s DRL strip and logo followed by the brand quote “Charge. Life”.
Last week, ElectricVehicleWeb.in published what could be TVS’s electric scooter (TVS Creon) being tested and now TVS has teased the scooter for the first time. A video put up by TVS Motors shows a charger and a blurred image of a scooter whizzing past with “Charge. Life. Coming soon.” quote.
Ather Energy will be launching its Ather 450X electric scooter on 28 January, 2020 and the e-scooter has been caught testing ahead of the launch in a matte black colour.
Bajaj Auto will study the customer reaction and experience in Pune and Bengaluru for Chetak before launching it in other cities, as stated by Rakesh Sharma, Director – Bajaj Auto.
While Bajaj Chetak been launched amid much fanfare, the company will start deliveries of the Chetak Urbane variant only from May 2020, reports BikeDekho. The Chetak Premium variant though will start to be delivered from February 2020.
The Ather 450 has a sharper and sleeker look, and the design, dare we say, is the more original of the two.

While many assumed that Honda would be bringing the PCX Electric to India, the Japanese brand has confirmed that it will be importing one of its models from China instead.
